“La Loggia” Tuscany Country Villa (Gaiole in Chianti, Siena):

“La Loggia” is a charming and beautiful independent country house, built in 2001 in style with the Medieval hamlet of Lucignano’s Castle where it is located. The hamlet is in the heart of the Chianti Classico, 12 km north of Siena, on the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and breathtaking views towards the famous Castle of Brolio.

This is the scenery chosen by the great movie director Bernardo Bertolucci for his masterwork Stealing Beauty. This is a piece of “Paradise” in a land that combines unspoiled nature, history, wine cultivation and a millenary culture.

The owner has personally directed the building of “La Loggia”, her summer vacation house. Every detail has been carefully hand made by local craftsmen in the best Tuscan tradition. Traditional materials have been used, including real terracotta floors and tiles, wooden beamed ceilings, hand painted kitchen sink, hand-wrought iron beds and door handles, bathroom fixtures and fittings.

The property is inside the hamlet, close to the Castle, but it is independent from the rest of the houses. It has a big exclusive garden of 1,500 sq m and shares a magnificent swimming pool with the small community of the hamlet.
