Our villa compound is a tropical paradise. The entire acre plot is surrounded by a bougainvillea-covered wall. The garden is carefully looked-after and you will find a dazzling display of beautiful, fragrant exotic flowers, bananas, papayas and passion fruits, which visitors are free to sample straight from the trees. At the center of the compound is a 11 x 7 swimming pool .

There are two, fully furnished villas for visitors to stay in at Papaya Garden. Both of the villas are built with coral stone in the local Swahili style and features a makuti (palm thatched) roof. Each villa can sleep up to 6 people comfortably, and are available on a nightly or weekly basis (see rates for the dates of minimum nights required per villa)

The fully equipped kitchen that is located in each villa features a gas cooker, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave. Sufficient kitchen utensils are available. A chef can also be contracted at reasonable rate £5 per day, for those who wish to have this service. Our cook will be happy to cook sumptuous typical meals and can also take care of your daily shopping

While the Villa Dora staff officially works from 8 to 5 pm assistance can be arranged for those that require something extra. This is because our staff, a housekeeper, pool attendant and gardener, remain on-site in seperate lodgings 24 hours a day.
