Our villa compound is a tropical paradise. The entire acre plot is surrounded by a bougainvillea-covered wall. The garden is carefully looked-after and you will find a dazzling display of beautiful, fragrant exotic flowers, bananas, papayas and passion fruits, which visitors are free to sample straight from the trees. At the center of the compound is a 11 x 7 swimming pool .

There are two, fully furnished villas for visitors to stay in at Papaya Garden. Both of the villas are built with coral stone in the local Swahili style and features a makuti (palm thatched) roof. Each villa can sleep up to 6 people comfortably, and are available on a nightly or weekly basis (see rates for the dates of minimum nights required per villa)
The fully equipped kitchen that is located in each villa features a gas cooker, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave. Sufficient kitchen utensils are available. A chef can also be contracted at reasonable rate £5 per day, for those who wish to have this service. Our cook will be happy to cook sumptuous typical meals and can also take care of your daily shopping
While the Villa Dora staff officially works from 8 to 5 pm assistance can be arranged for those that require something extra. This is because our staff, a housekeeper, pool attendant and gardener, remain on-site in seperate lodgings 24 hours a day. This way they are available to assist you with anything you need during your stay. Wireless 3G internet connection in available throughout the compoundfor guests added convenience. While the area around Diani beach is safe and secure the Villa Dora employes the service of a Samburu Masai warrior as a security guard and has an alarm system

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in GBP. Prices shown are for six people. Prices increase by £50 GBP for each additional guest per week. Discounts available for longer term let.
Changeover day
Changeover days and times are flexible.
Accommodation
The rates mentioned hereafter are weekly rates for six persons, including the day of arrival, and the day of departure unless previously arranged with the owner.
Please, ask for special rates, when planning for longer stays (4 weeks and over).
Rates include the following services: bedding , basic set of towels , feel free to bring your own , laundry service, personnel, electricity and water, and final cleaning.
Not included is the transfer from and to Mombassa Airport. We can organize that for you .
Cars can be hired in diani beach for about 25 £ per day .
The price (one way, i.e. Mombassa Airport – papaya garden per car (for 4 persons) currently is 30 £. We are more than glad to organize trips and / or safaris for you.
