The house is located three kilometers away from the centre of the historic town of Nafplion and it can be the centre for daily excursions to many famous ancient sites. Theater of Epidauros, Mycenae, Olympia, Corinth, Tyrintha (one of the first citadels in Europe), the Byzantine town of Mystras, the prehistoric caves of Dyros where you can see the unique in the world formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and the fortes town of Monemvasia: or one can have relaxing days trips to beautiful nearby islands. Around Nafplion there are many beautiful beaches where you can go for a swim or any other type of water sport. The town itself (two hours away, by road, from Athens) is cultural centre with several museums, theaters and art galleries.
