Our Tarn Holiday Gite near Lavaur in South-West France, was constructed in 2007. Architect-designed, the gite sleeps four people and has been built and furnished in a classical style to capture the relaxed warmth of the Midi-Pyrénées region. Our Tarn Gite is 4km from the medieval market town of Lavaur, approximately 45 minutes from Toulouse Blagnac Airport and 90 minutes from Carcassonne Airport. Situated in the Tarn, some 40km from Toulouse, Le Gite de Piquetalen serves as a perfect base from which to discover the beautiful south-west of France.
The Gite Living Area is open-planned with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. With its high ceiling, roof beams and spiral staircase, the living area has a very spacious feel to it. In the summer the French windows add to the spaciousness with views onto the garden and, in the winter, the wood burning stove gives a warm and cozy feeling to the gîte.
The bathroom - equipped with a shower - is downstairs. Although it is not designed for wheelchair access, the bathroom and ground floor of the gite are suitable for people with mobility problems. Please contact the owner before booking, if you have any mobility requirements.
