Perigord is an oak beamed cottage. It is situated less than 5 minutes walk from the charming little village of Saint Laurent des Hommes. The village has a bar, post office, grocer, baker, butcher and hairdresser. Perigord can sleep 2/4 people. There is a twin bedded bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. There is a kitchen, Shower and WC. Small patio area with barbecue. There is a 10m by 5m swimming pool (shared with a gite max 7 people.
The village lies between the River L'Isle and the Double Forest. Local facilities include:Fishing in the L'Isle. A French fishing license is obtainable locally. Our visitors have also enjoyed fishing for trout nearby. Bordeaux, Bergerac and Perigueux can be visited. Also St Emilion with its chateaux and vineyards, Sarlat and the medieval Bastide towns, Lascaux 11 and other prehistoric caves with their magnificent paintings.
