Quesada is a bustling little township with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants and is conveniently situated just off the AP70 motorway. The villa is near the Quesada Country Club which holds a variety of nightly entertainments as well as a variety of sporting activities including bowls. It is close to a large market held on Sunday as well as others in Torrevieja, Guardamar, Playa Flamenca etc.
Further afield is the city/port of Alicante with its castle, Elche with leather goods and Benidorm. To the south is Murcia and the ancient city of Cartagena etc.
There are a several free coach trips to different locations, details can be found at the markets or at the large Iceland store in Torrevieja (which stocks an excellent range of English food).
The beaches are award winners for their cleanliness.
The many restaurants and bars are perfect for al fresco dining or just having a relaxing drink after a hard days sun-bathing. There is a wide variety to suit all tastes and pockets. |
