This is a lovely brand new apartment ( completed May 2007) that has two bedrooms, one double & one twin bed, (though you could push these together if you need two double rooms)
In the lounge there are two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed should you need to sleep 6.
The kitchen has the usual oven, hob, fridge, washing machine, kettle etc as well as a full compliment of cutlery & crockery.
Sheets, blankets & towels are provided.
Heating & cooling are provided by air-conditioning.
You also have TV, DVD, Satelite CD, Cassette & radio.
See the pictures to get a better idea.Located in a sheltered bay on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, Torba is a favourite resort with the locals, who love swimming in the clear waters and lunching at the restaurants dotted along the shore. The landscape here is not so barren as the south of the peninsula, with green hills rolling down to isolated sand and pebble beaches, and you dont have to explore too far before coming across small villages (some deserted, some just very sleepy), monasteries and ancient monuments, like the 2500 year old Lelegian tombs nearby.
Beaches
Torbas main beach is a sand and shingle compact beach and to the west there is a small pebbly stretch with sunbeds leading into beautifully clear waters. Most hotels have private beaches with sunbeds and wooden swimming platforms.
Eating out
While the small cafes dotted along the coast serve excellent seafood, there is much more variety in Bodrum, with its wide range of Turkish and international restaurants.
Shopping
The nearest shopping is in Bodrum, where local specialities are leather, Turkish carpets and fake designer clothing mostly found in the narrow streets and the Bazaar area. However, real designer clothing can be found at the exclusive shops by the Marina. Turkish delight and Apple tea can be widely found throughout resort.
Local information
Hire a car for a fantastic day driving around the peninsula and visit one of the small fishing resorts such as Gumusluk or Gundogan. The variety of landscapes is amazing, and the views out to sea are spectacular. Although Torba itself is quiet, it is only a short hop away by taxi or local bus into the lively resorts of Bodrum and Gumbet.
Oh, and the Dolmus (pronounced Dolmush) cam be picked up at the gate.
