The apartment is in the quiet village of Karaincir located in the south western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula. It is available for rent all year round. İt is only Five minutes from the local shop and taxi or dolmus. Karaincir beach is only a 10 minute walk away, with restaurants, bars The village of Akyarlar is only a 15 minute walk up the main road and has restaurants and bars as well as having its own beach. Bodrum town is only 40 minutes away and Turgutreis is 15 minutes in the other direction. The Greek island of Kos is only 7 km away and day trips by ferry are available from Bodrum & Turgutreis. A short walk west of Bagla brings one to the small resort village of Karaincir (Black Fig) where the broad sandy beach is lined with hotels and restaurants and numerous sunning piers are built out over the water. This is the furthest point to the west visited by the Bodrum daily boat tours. A fairly long walk past the village and up the hillside brings you to the Çifik Castle on Aspat mountain Aspat, abbreviated from Aspandas, means not suitable for ploughing, and the summit of the mountain is reached by following a narrow path and stairways through the remnants of ancient civilizations. The view from the top is one of the finest on the peninsula.
