We came to Marmaris on a family holiday, our first visit to Turkey in 2006 and fell in love with it. The people are helpful and friendly, the food is wonderful, the excursions are excellent and the shopping is great too.Just a short 2 minute walk from the apartment you will find a small shop selling all the usual convieniences. If you choose to walk for a couple more minutes you will find a much larger supermarket. For restuarants, bars and gift shopping, these are all located in the centre, which is a short dolmus ride away. (Approx 5 minutes) the bus will take you right into the centre by the Marina.No, the dolmus is quick and easy. It runs from Beldibi every 10/15 minutes and is very cheap. They operate til 1am summertime and til 12am wintertime. Taxis are also available on every corner and they run all hours of the day at a very reasonable cost.
