Our apartment is set on a small gated complex it as 24 hour security and a resident housekeeper. There are a total of 48 apartments in 4 blocks of 12 set around the swimming pool and patio with landscaped gardens of mediterranean plants and palm trees. The apartment has an open plan lounge/kitchen area giving a light spacious feel. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and includes a breakfast bar it leads onto a patio with table and chairs for outside dining. In the living room there are 2 sofa beds, coffee table and satalite TV with integrated DVD and CD player there is also a selection of discs and games. There is a seperate dining table. The bedrooms all have ample storage space, bedside tables and lamps, the master having a combination safe. Two of the bedrooms lead onto a balcony also equipped with table and chairs. On the complex we have a 22m swimming pool with small a childrens pool with sunloungers and parasols. There is a fully equipped fitness centre with changing rooms, showers and a sauna these facilities are free for residents. Along with a games room which includes a pool table, table tennis table and darts board.The apartment is only 5 mins away from local shops, supermarket, chemist, bars and restaraunts selling good quality food at very reasnable prices. It is not necessary to have a car but Side is a large area and with one you will be able to see more of the surrounding areas such as Kumkoy and Manavagat there are numerous hire car shops available locally (don,t forget your drivers licence). The old town of Side is 20 mins walk or 5 mins by Dolmus bus or taxi; Dolmus buses are very inexpensive and they will pick you up and drop you off anywhere on their route. In Side you will find many architectural sites along side a vast shopping area selling everything from jewelry, both designer and fake goods and the usual tourist shops. There is a harbour where you can take boat trips. You can book excursions independantly they are very reasonable and will even pick you up at your apartment. There are two beaches both offering watersports of all kinds with beach bars on them. Although the beach is 15 mins walk away there are several free Dolmus buses that will pick you up and take you there.
