You may have seen Casa del Sole on TV in the series No Going Back and A Year in Tuscany. Richard & Sarah at Casa del Sole offer a unique farm holiday experience in a beautiful and central part of Tuscany. Forget about your troubles - the view alone soothes the soul. The idea of Casa del Sole is to offer holidaymakers a quiet rural base from which it is possible to see many of the tourist attractions such as Florence and Siena or where you can spend your holiday on the farm soaking up the secluded, calming atmosphere and spotting the wide range of wildlife on your doorstep. Casa del Sole is a working olive farm so you can expect to see Richard & Sarah working hard in the vegetable garden or in the olive groves (but not early in the morning!). We have cats, dogs, chickens and horses at the farm. Please be aware of this if you have any allergies. The listed price per week is for the LODGE only. The Chestnut House costs slightly less per week - please email for details. If this accommodation is not exactly what you were wanting then please email anyway - we know of some other beautiful accommodation in our area.Casa del Sole Lodge: This charming little house sleeps a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. The Lodge House is slightly larger than the Chestnut House and comprises of * a large living area with fully equipped kitchen, * dining table, * sofa, * double bunk bed. * heating provided by a gas heater - charged at cost. * a dressing area leads to the en-suite bathroom. Outside there is a private decking area with natural shade. Casa del Sole Chestnut House: The Chestnut house was originally the building in which the chestnuts were roasted. We have converted it into a cosy one up - one down hideaway. Full of charm you will love lounging in the hammock looking at your gorgeous view. Kitchen: Gas stove, refrigerator, dining table. All crockery and pans etc. Heating provided by a gas heater - charged at cost Bedroom: Double bed Bathroom: Toilet & Shower.
