Nestling at the foot of the Pennines and enjoying uninterrupted views of the Lakeland Fells, Milburn Grange is an excellent base for walking, cycling (we are on both the Pennine and Cumbrian cycle-ways), touring (York; Edinburgh; Hadrian’s Wall; Scottish Borders; Dales; Lakes), or relaxing. In addition, within easy access there are coarse fishing lakes, 2 golf courses, and riding stables.

Our self-contained cottages (M6 20 mins.) have been converted from redundant barns. They are centrally heated, comfortably furnished and each has a fully equipped kitchen (microwave; full-size cooker; fridge) and colour TV.

The three-bedroom cottages have a washing machine and dishwasher. The latter is provided with Stable Cottage (2 bedrooms) too. Our one bedroom cottage (4-poster) is a romantic hideaway forr couples! In addition, there is a washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and irons in the communal laundry room.
