The Gite is completely self-contained with downstairs bathroom, toilet and shower. The comforatable lounge has patio doors leading to the gite garden.
There are many local forests and nature walks.
The Auvergne area is described as a paradise of open space, with scenery of immense natural beauty. Waterfalls, lakes and rivers are in abundance and the area is a stratetic point for migratory birds, including Kestrels, Red Kites and Buzzards.
There is a lake and man-made beach just 5 km away at Lapeyrouse. The Puy de Dome 45 km away offers magnificent views and hand-gliding.
Canoeing and kayaking is also close by. There are many good restaurants in the area.
