Cable House is renovated to the highest standard with a requirement to only bring yourselves and a sense of adventure. Just off the famous Ring of Kerry, there is so much to see and do on the Island and surrounding area that one trip is never enough, everyone returns again and again!! From Dinosaur footprints to Glanleam's Tropical Gardens to a beautiful safe rocky beach (ideal for crab fishing) 10 steps away, not to mention a fabulous trip to Skellig Rock (a World Heritage Site) this is really one of Kerry's best kept secrets.

The Island is incredibly safe for children with wonderful restaurants and pubs within easy reach. There is a very good supermarket nearby and also a well stocked corner shop in the village which is a 5 minute walk from the house. Cahirciveen is the main town, there is a ferry service during the summer which is a 5 minute crossing to Cahirciveen. Otherwise it is possible to travel down to the bridge at Portmagee and travel to the mainland that way. (Travel time 20 mins)
