A lovely characteristic stone cottage, ‘Villina’ ( which means little villa ) is a lovely farmhouse on top of a hill that is surrounded by woods and olive groves overlooking the Val di Chiana between the villages of Lucignana and Monte San Savino (4 km.) with stunning views. The cottage is in the middle of it's own little "estate" of approx 20 acres and reached by a private driveway. You have a private pool ( 10 x 5mts) set in amongst the beautiful garden with olive trees, shade trees and flowers at your disposal . Sunchairs and umbrellas surround to make your lazy days as comfortable as they can be. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 people. The furniture is "country - elegant" of very high standards and antique peices, the kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances of high standards(oven, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc.). It is a sunny room and decorated in countrystyle. All details have been considered in restoring this property, it is the owners country home, they are Florentine nobels and have decorated the house with objects from their travels. It is a very homely and cozy property. The expansive immaculate garden is completely furnished with seating, and a patio with a BBQ. The Patio has extensive , beautiful views and is the perfect spot for relaxing and dining al fresco. There is a T.V. in every bedroom. In the cottage you will find a ‘Read Me’ which contains general information on shopping, a list of restaurants in the area, suggestions for tours with an English speaking driver in Chianti, Cortona, Assisi, Maremma, San Gimignano, Volterra etc. There will be a list of open markets in the villages and towns around the area. Museums, galleries, and golf clubs. You have complete linens for the house and Graziella will also come 8 hours per week to clean and tidy. There is also a gardener, Zelindo, who comes everyday to take care of the pool and gardens. We can easily organise for acook to cme and prepare delicious & traditional Tuscan meals for your group.
