Villa Vista is about 5 kms in the hills above the charming market town of Greve in Chianti. Greve is halfway between Florence and Siena, within easy reach of both historic towns. It is also close to the other Tuscan hill towns including Montepulciano and Montalcino. The newly renovated house has 6/7 bedrooms, with 6 bathrooms. It includes a new kitchen and large inglenook fireplace in the double height dining area. There is a very large table hear to seat 12-20 people. There is a gallery above and a large traditional Tuscan fireplace. Villa Vista rests in beautiful landscapes with hills on all side. The house is at 610 m elevation, in a temperate climate surrounded by terraces and green woodland. Recently renovated by a team of English and Italian architects, the house sits in a beautiful Chianti valley close to the lovely historical towns of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Castellina-in-Chianti. The closest town to the villa is Greve in Chianti, a wonderful and well serviced market town with excellent food and wine shops. The house sleeps 12-14 comfortably, with a good water supply fed by a 200m deep well and spring, and strong electricity supply. The house has all mod cons, including washer and dryer, dishwasher, stereo CD hifi system and satellite TV with video player. The kitchen is fully fitted with five hob gas cooker, electric ovens, dishwasher and deluxe refrigerator and freezer with ice maker. Also included is a food processor and juicer. There is also an outdoor bread oven and BBQ near the pool for cooking large al fresco meals by the pool. Villa Vista has a wonderful deep pool of 20 X 40 foot dimensions, with diving board and night lights, This is immediately adjacent to the house. Depth ranges from 3 - 12 feet. Nearby to the pool is a large loggia and shaded dining area, complete with a working wood-fired bread oven for all manner of outdoor cooking. The pool and pool terrace also contains excellent night lighting. The house also has a laundry area with washer and dryer. The bedrooms at Villa Vista are comfortable and well furnished, all with lovely views to different perspectives of the hills and valleys surrounding the house. Most bedrooms are en suite with bath or shower, toilet and bidet in some cases. Upstairs, two adjacent bedrooms form a suite (one very large with double bed and a smaller one with two single beds) which share a bathroom. A Land Rover Discovery is available for hire with the house at a cost of £500 per week. There are six/seven bedrooms at Villa Vista, 3 at first floor level. The two south-facing double-bedded rooms have fabulous views down the valley, with en suite shower/bathrooms. The third upstairs double bedded room has its own Tuscan style fireplace and bathroom with bath, reached through a dressing room with 2 additional single beds. With a panoramic vista from three sides of the room, the sitting room catches the breeze across the valley even on the warmest days.
