this modern villagehouse is a recently built modern 2-storey house, suitable for up to 6 people, situated within the atmospheric old village of Loutra, 12 km from Rethymnon. The detached four bedroom villa with its pretty little front gardens and small swimming pool (25sqm) sits right across the road from the Villa Athena, and was designed and built by the same owner.
On the ground floor there is a spacious living/dining room with a fireplace and fully equipped kitchenette with a washing machine and a dishwasher. Also on the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with en suite shower/WC, and a separate bathroom with bath tub/shower fitment/WC. French windows open onto a veranda with views of the garden. The swimming pool with its small paved sun terraces sits within the front gardens and close by there is a BBQ and patio furniture set under a pergola.
An interior staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are 2 further bedrooms plus a lobby area with a little kitchenette. . All of the bedrooms have air conditioning and each has access to a veranda or a balcony with views over the village, the surrounding countryside and across to the sea in the distance.
For guests use there is a small gym and Jacuzzi in the basement of the house. The nearest beach is approx 4 km away. There are a few mini markets and tavernas within walking distance in the village. We consider car hire to be essential.
