This 12th century village house is based in a quiet location in the centre of the village. It is undergoing complete restoration at the moment, and will be ready for Easter. There are 3 bedrooms, bathroom, large kitchen and a sitting room. From the sitting room you have wonderful views of the valley towards Aups.
Regusse is situated in the Parc Natural Regional du Verdon. It is 9km from Aups; a 15-20 min. drive from the Lac St. Croix and Gorges du Verdon and approximately 1.5 hours drive from Nice and Marseile airports. The village has a number of small shops including a butcher, baker, hairdresser and gift shop, plus a library with Internet access. There will also be a pharmacy opening in 2009. Just outside of the village is a large Atac supermarket and petrol station. There is a market on Sunday mornings with Wednesday and Saturday being the market days in the nearby town of Aups. From November to March, there is also a truffle market on Thursday mornings in Aups. Regusse also has two municipal swimming pools, one being a childrens' pool and the other is an olympic size pool. The pool is open in July and August. There are three restaurants and a snack bar in the main village. About 1km is the campside and in the summer months there are two more restaurants, plus many activities that can be used by non-residents of the site. A 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before the rental period.
Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge.
4-8 weeks – 50% of the rate refunded.
2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded.
Less than 2 weeks – no refund.
A security deposit of Euro 300 is also required on arrival.
Electricity and water are included.
Bed linen and towels can be supplied on request for Euro 15 per bed and Euro 8 per person per week.
Payment via Paypal can be accepted.
We also offer a taxi service from the airports and Les Arcs, which is our local TGV station. Car hire can be organised locally if you don't fancy the trip along the motorway.
We can also get some shopping for your arrival, just send us an email with your requirements. Also we can supply delivered meals to order, so please ask for our menus.
