Villa - House to rent in Kas Antalya Mediterranean Turkey

Villa Mimosa is a beautiful, completely detached six-persons villa with swimmingpool, perched above the sea with a magnificent view over the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and the Greek island of Meyisti.

The villa is nestled in a lush green valley close to the picturesque town of Kaş at the impressive Turkish south coast.
The holiday house is surrounded by a private garden of 600 m2.
There is a swimming pool, (5 x 12 m) shared with one other villa (of British owners), where you can sunbath on sunbeds with umbrellas.

The large balcony (30 m2) has Turkish beds, a dining area and a breathtaking view.
There are two terraces with permanent shadow.
One of them is a beautiful veranda (30 m2) with a large dining table and barbecue, the other (60 m2) offers you a shadowy lounge on lazy sofa's.


The downstairs interior of Villa Mimosa consists of a spacey living / dining room (70 m2) with a fireplace, TV and DVD set, an open plan kitchen and a toilet. There are 5 large patio doors leading onto the two terraces and the garden, which gives the livingroom a light and natural atmosphere.


The kitchen is completely supplied with a 4 pits electric cooker, a microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and washing-machine. Furthermore there are a coffeemaker, kitchen utensils, crockery set etc. .

Upstairs is the entrance with a hall and three bedrooms, one with a double bed, the others have two single beds. There are three small bathrooms, with a shower or bath tub.

The hall and two bedrooms have acces to the large balcony and have a magnificient seaview, the third bedroom views he garden.
The living room and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The villa is children-friendly, with gates between the house and the swimmingpool and the house and the entrance road. There are a kid chair and a kid mattress with a small duvet and kids bedtextile.


The distance to the sea is 200 meters, which you can reach by steps or road.
At the seaside you will find three beaches with free sun beds and umbrellas.
Consumption will be served at your chair. You also can enjoy a perfect lunch there on shadowy tables.

In the neighborhood of Kaş are some lovely pebble beaches and at hlaf an hour driving in Patara there is the most exquisite sandbeach with a lenght of 6 kilometers.

Villa Mimosa is situated close to the centre of Kaş, app. 5 km., which is only a 10 minute dolmus ride.
Our gardener will bring you each morning fresh bread.
There are several supermarkets in Kas, which are eager to deliver you purchases at home.

In the villa is an information folder and we have an English speaking housekeeper who is happy to help you with all your questions and problems.


Kaş, discovered by the hippies during the seventies, is a small picturesque fisher village with a typical Turkish, mellowed atmosphere. It is situated on the unspoiled Turkish south coast and watched over by the impressive Taurus mountain range.

Its picturesque Ottoman architecture, antique monuments and white facades offers a perfect background
to the wealthy displays for tourists in the narrow streets.
You will find antique shops, boutiques and jewellers, textile, glass and earthenware, besides attractive terraces and a tea garden. An evening in Kaş is an experience with its high-quality (fish) restaurants, bars and gorgeous terraces.

The former fisher village has an intimate harbour, in which boats for excursions and diving compete for a place with the perpetually growing number of sailing yachts.

Kaş has remains of the Lycian culture as well as the Greek / Roman culture. In the centre is a Lycian Tomb, a monument of which the text still is a mystery. On the peninsula close to the sea you can find a Hellenistic theatre, on which performances will be given during summertime.

Kaş is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Turkey, but thre are no all inclusive hotles or mass tourism.
Situated on the south coast with its clear blue water and a great deal of antique monuments, it provides a good start for sightseeing trips and sport activities. There are boat tours to Kekova and to the Greek Island of Meis.
There are also daily tours by coach to historical places like the major Lycian cities Arycanda, Patara, Tlos, Letoon and Xantos.

Excursions: You can rent a car and visit in one day the ruins of antique Myra (Lycian tombs), the Saint Nicolas basilica of Demre, the impressive cascades between Kaş and Kalkan and the gorgeous Gorge of Saklikent .

If you like a sportive holiday, you can have a non- stop programme because Kaş offers you among others:
diving, sailing, joining a crew on a Blue Cruise or visiting sunken cities.
You can also go for paragliding, mountain biking or hike along the more than two thousand years old Lycian Pathway.
