The Vila Franca farm is located on the right side of Tamega river, the main Douro’s tributarie, at the Cabeceiras de Basto region.

It is a 67 ha (670000 square meters / 165 acres) large vineyards farm with plenty of green areas to chill out and get in touch with Nature, breathing a natural clean air. It belongs to the only Vinho verde wine region in the world, so you can have a unique insight on how is this wine produced, from the vine to the bottle. You can also enjoy a bike ride or a quiq swim on the river while you make a picnic and drink one of the best Verde wines of the farm.

It is 5km far from the internacional fishing spot of Cavez, 50Km from Guimaraes, the cradle of Portugal, 58Km from Peneda-Geres National Park, 70Km from Braga and 90Km from Oporto airport and city. 90% of those distances are highways.

The house is a modern yet rural arquitecture, made of granite, with a fabulous view to the vineyard. It has central heating as well as two fireplaces.
The kitchen is equipped with gas hob and electric woven, American style fridge, microwave, coffe maker, dish machine and wash machine. It has also a fireplace and a dinning table.
The lounge also has a fireplace and a Satellite LCD TV.
The bedrooms are equipped with double beds and built in closets. The suite has a private bathroom.
