Casa Fulvia is an elegant country house which lays in the countryside just outside the medieval walls of Siena. Recently redecorated and re-designed, this home is the perfect location for those looking for a quite and elegant spot. The furniture has been chosen tastefully by the owner Anna Maria, maintaining the typical Tuscan style adding personal touches such as frescoes on several walls and doors.

The house is all on the ground floor. The entrance is from the glass door from the furnished terrace which opens into the bright living area with comfortable sofa and armchairs, dining corner on the opposite side of the room by the windows. From the living area a hand painted door opens into a small stady with an antique desk by the window. Another hand painted door opens into the very well equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, 4 gas ring hobs) which also opens into the terrace and is refined with prestigious marble and a unique travertine sink . Two double bedrooms: one double room with access to the garden and a small single room with an additional bed, which can be transformed into a double room on request, although a very small one. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and direct access from the living room and the bedroom to the garden adds extra convenience.

Casa Fulvia can comfortably host 3+1 people.

The apartment is located in a side part of the estate; the upper floor and adjoining main part are occupied by the owner and her guests. Casa Fulvia is situated near a narrow road in a quiet place. The residential area surrounding Casa Fulvia is one of the best in Siena.

ACTIVITIES
The nearest restaurant is within walking distance (400 m), and the drive to the magnificent white sand beaches in the national park of the Maremma takes one hour. Casa Fulvia itself does not have a swimming pool, but there is a sportclub a 5-minute drive down the road: there you find a pool, a small golf course and a tennis court.

LOCATION
Casa Fulvia is located in Castelbuccio, 3 kms distant from Siena. There are worthwhile art monuments only a stone's throw away: i.e. Castello Belcaro (1 km), renovated by the renowned Renaissance architect Baldassarre Peruzzi, Eremo di Lecceto (3 km), a former Augustinian hermitage now occupied by cloistered nuns (if you walk past at 12.15 pm or 9 pm you can hear them singing). Siena can be reached without the necessity of a car. A bus stop is 1.2 km distant from Casa Fulvia, buses run every 20 minutes. On your way to the bus stop you can enjoy the picturesque landscape.
