Villa Sasso is a converted farmhouse set in about a hectare of gardens, orchard and woods, with a pizza oven and stunning views over the valley. The villa has been fully restored, and looks out over a beautiful valley of fields, vineyards and historic hill-top villages. Up to 16 people can be accommodated, in 8 bedrooms with cots and high-chairs available on request. There is ample space to relax in the large sitting room, which includes wide-screen TV, DVD and an electric piano. The kitchen is large and well equipped - ideal for large groups. There are excellent facilities for entertaining: terraces and barbecue with tables and chairs for dining, and views over the valley, with the choice of sun or shade. The pizza oven has been restored and is available for pizzas and other baking. One double bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) is in a small annex, a few yards from the main house. The 12x6m pool (open May to September) offers beautiful views across the valley to the mountains.

Set on the side of a hill overlooking a quiet valley, Villa Sasso is in the Verdicchio wine region of the Marche, about 30 minutes from Ancona airport, on the Adriatic coast. The rural villages of Sasso and Castellaro are around 1½ - 2 miles away, with bar, small supermarket and a pizzeria. In the valley (about 5 miles away) can be found many shops, bars, restaurants and larger supermarkets. The nearest large town is Jesi, with a beautiful historic centre with churches, museums and galleries and opera house. The Renaissance city Urbino, birthplace of Raphael, is about 90 minutes away. The Adriatic coastline (about 25 miles away) has many beautiful beaches and bays. You must visit Senigallia, a smart seaside resort with miles of flat sandy beaches, and Sirolo, a beautiful village with spectacular views over the Adriatic, and small secluded beach.
