Villa - House to rent in Zakynthos Ionian Islands Greece

This spectacula villa is set in the hills above the Port of St Nicholas in the north of Zakynthos. It has fantastic 180 degree views of the island, Kefelonia, and the pelponese. Built on a huge expanse of private land, the villa and cabin boast a wonderful private pool overlooking the sea.
There are many sun terraces including one with a ping pong table and a seating area near the pool, under shade. In the grounds there is a separate cabin with a double bed, bathroom and full kitchen.

There is a roof terrace from one of the bedrooms and a BBQ on the main terrace from the living room.
All the 5 bedrooms have bathrooms en-suite. There is an open plan sittingroom, diningroom, kitchen. 4 of the bedrooms have doulbe doors onto the terraces. There is parking for 2 cars. The villa over looks the port where there are many lovely restaurants and bars. At the port you can take ferry trips to the blue caves, the famous ship wreak and to other islands including kefelonia. Great trips for the children.
You can hire boats from the port and the Peligoni sailing club, also very good for teenagers is within 5 minutes drive, where you can sail, windsurf, waterski or just lie by their pool or swim in the crystal sea!!! The views at night in the hills are quite amazing, the milky way is quite visible and there is a wonderful breeze and no mosquitoes... a delight for Greece!!!
The local town of Volimes is 10 minutes in the car. The nearest beaches are either in Port Nicholas or on the coastal road towards Alykes. There are many more snady beachers as you head down the coast.
The airport is 20 kms away in the south. You can take boat trips to see the famous carretta's (turtles) that live here.
Take a flight on a tiny plane from the airport to see the island from the skies!!! A great experience.
This a wonderful place excape the pressures of home and really relax and unwind.
Away from the main resorts, but close to local restaurants and villages to give you the greek experience. Free to book all year round, there are direct flight from may to November. The rest of the year you fly to Athens and then on from there.
I am happy to recommend a good local car hire man for you and any other things you would like.
Usually rental change over days are either Saturdays or Thursdays, but do please ask for other dates as I can be flexible.
The cleaners, pool man and gardeners are all included in the prices, as are the linen and towels.
The cleaners, come 2/3 times a week, the poolmen and gardeners the same.
