Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Modbury are all within easy reach.
'Mulberry' cottage: rated 4 stars has 4 bedrooms. sleeps 7
'Rowan' cottage: rated 4 stars has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 5
'Moonriver' cottage: rated 5 stars has 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4
'Mulberry' & 'Rowan' have inter connecting doors if needed to make 7 bedrooms.
'Rowan' & 'Moonriver' have an additional pull out sofa bed if required.)
Another added attraction to Gara Bridge Cottages is Fly Fishing on the River Avon for Salmon, Brown Trout & Sea Trout. Seasonal permits can be acquired at local Post Offices.
There is also walking, picnicking, birdwatching and a nature trail on our 12 acres of meadows and woodland; horse riding can be found locally.
Gara Bridge Cottages are in a beautiful rural location but close to: Modbury, 5 miles, for local shopping, pubs and restaurants. Nearest pub at California Cross, 1 & 1/2 miles with convenience store and petrol station.
Moreleigh: 3 miles with 'New Inn' pub and Post Office.
Totnes: Medieval town 9 miles, with restaurants, bars, local shopping, supermarkets, the beautiful River Dart with boat trips to Dartmouth, Totnes Steam Railway.
