Chalet Andu is a beautiful chalet situated 5 minutes from Morzine, on the edge of Essert Romand and close to the Ardent Telecabine, Avoriaz and Les Gets. Its location allows easy access to the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest ski areas in the world.

The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests.

The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with an average of 15 - 25 guests in the winter. The chalet can comfortably accommodate upto 34 people. Relax with friends around an open log fire after a delicious dinner prepared from fresh local produce by your hosts.

About The Food

All food served at Chalet Andu is prepared daily from quality fresh local produce.

A hot breakfast is served except on departure days when a continental breakfast is available.

Hot beverages available all day.

A three course dinner is served each evening (except on chalet day off - usually Wednesday).

Small Apartment (Sleeps 2 - 5)

A homely apartment which can comfortably sleep 4 adults or a family of 5 (2 adults / 3 children). The apartment has a kitchenette (microwave, dishwasher & hob), lounge (sofa bed) and dining area. In the sleeping area there is a double bed (with single bed above) and a bunk alcove. The bathroom is also located in this area. The apartment has full access to the 10m heated pool and sauna.

Large Apartment (Sleeps 6 - 10)
=======================
This well appointed ground floor apartment has a combined kitchenette (microwave, dishwasher & hob), lounge and dining area which can accommodate up to 10 people. There are 4 bedrooms (2 with double and a single bed, 1 with a bunk bed, 1 with 2 singles or 1 double bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also another bathroom. The apartment has full access to the 10m heated pool and sauna.


Local Area Information
================
The chalet is situation on the outskirts of Essert-Romand, which is one of the first villages associated with the much sought after Morzine-Avoriaz location.

The local facilities include a large and modern Champion Supermarket, and numerous smaller supermarkets, and a weekly farmer's market. The local area provides many small businesses typical to the region, and Morzine-Avoriaz itself has much to offer.

Skiing
Morzine-Avoriaz is the centre of the ski area and located approximately 10 minutes away by bus in season. Les Get is within easy access as well.

Wide open spaces, challenging ski-slopes and bump runs for those in search of an adrenalin rush. Deep snow for leaving tracks around a mountain chalet or through the trees…. Long slopes for practising wide turns, ideal for families and the very young to learn on.

From France to Switzerland, there is no end of pleasure to be had here.

Morzine
Morzine features restaurants and bars beyond count, and numerous high quality shopping areas. In winter it features an Olympic Skating rink as well. But it's main attraction is that it is a central and busy hub of the Porte Du Soleil skiing region.

The Port-Du-Soleil
The Porte-du-Soleil is the largest ski area in the world, featuring 650km of piste and considered to be superior to both Chamonix and the 3-Valleys. Further to this it features extensive off-piste facilities.

Chalet Andu is no more than 10 minutes from the first lift, which gives access to the whole 7 regions of the Porte-du-Soleil.
