Our apartment is situated in a lovely village on the Costa Blanca, and has some of the best beaches nearby.
The towns of Alicante, Murcia, Guardamar and Torrevieja are a short drive away(both Alicante and Murcia airporrts being only 20-30 minute drive away.)

Guardamar is only a 10 minute drive and has the most beautiful and safest beaches on the coast. It also has lots of bars, restaurants and shops, aswell as a fantastic markets!

Torrevieja is a large town 20 minutes away, which has a great selection of bars, restaurants, and bustling night life! There is a picturesque marina with an abundance of restaurants and cafes. Also, there is a brand new shopping centre opened on the outskirts of Torrevieja, which has a wide variety of quality shops, great for all you shopaholics!

Our apartment is in a modern complex called El Patio.It is on the first of 2 floors and has a large communal pool with a waterfall. Surrounding it are terraced and planted areas to sit, sunbathe and just relax in the sun! It is in the heart of the Spanish village of Algorfa, situated on a road lined with orange and lemon groves. Algorfa is a friendly village which holds many fiestas throughout the year where the locals and tourists mingle in the local cafes and bars. Algorfa holds its own Fiestas in June, well worth a visit at this time!!

The apartment is opposite a typically Spanish square, where there are a couple of bars and a supermarket. There are several bars and restaurants dotted around the village, all within walking distance. Also, there is a park within walking distance that has a municipal swimming pool(open in Summer months), tennis courts and football pitch, ideal for the kids and adults!

The village has many little shops hidden throughout the village, including a quality shoe shop that sells a lovely range of childrens shoes, Lingerie shop, Florist, Gift shop and more. Also, there is bakery for fresh bread, Fishmongers, butchers,and a sweet shop for the kiddies! Opposite the apartment is an internet cafe, where you can also hire a car if interested!

Also, La Finca golf course is a new 18 hole PGA course that is a 15 minute walk form the apartment, and is open to non-members. It has a lovely restaurant which is open to non-residents.
Other golf courses nearby are: VillaMartin, Campomar, and Las Ramblas.

Other amenities nearby are: Waterpark, Wildlife park at Guardamar,excellent shopping centre, Benidorm 1 hour away.

Consequently, Algorfa is an ideal holiday destination for families, couples and golfers.
(Hire of a car is recommended to appreciate the area.)
