Playa Flamenca is in an ideal location for those wishing to have a relaxing holiday without being to far away from the bright lights of a Spanish town.

Torrevieja is just 10mins drive or bus ride away and here you will find everything you would expect from a thriving Spanish resort, boat trips, Aqua Park, cinema, and bowling. The nearest beach, Playa Flamenca, is about twenty minuites walk, but within two miles are beaches at La Zenia, Punta Prima and the much-photographed Cabo Roig beach and harbour.

Further a field, visit the unique inland sea of Mar Menor, which is separated from the Mediterranean by a narrow strip of land and sandbank thirteen miles long. The water is no more than 20feet deep and there are a large number of sandy beaches.

Inland is the historic town of Orihuela, with its narrow streets and squares and the city of Elche, renowned for its tens of thousands of palms and nearby sub-tropical gardens of Huerto del Cura, while Murcia’s cathedral ranks among the finest in Spain.
