Recommended local excursions are the Night/Tropical Zoo (5mins), Baron River Rafting (10mins), Rainforest Skyrail (15mins), Hartleys Crocodile Adventures (15mins), Daintree Rainforest (45mins) Cape Tribulation (1hr).
